Digital Art
A moment of dissonance sitting in the last seat of a long distance bus.
Birds singed slow.
Background
Gønz is a glitch artist, experimental technologist from Buenos Aires, Argentina, currently based in Berlin. With 15 years of experience in visual art, his work bridges electronics, telecommunications, graphic design, web coding, and experimental robotics.
For the past 20 years, he has also been producing electronic music and playing with robotics and devices. Beyond personal exploration, he has taught music production and conducted workshops in Berlin, sharing his knowledge of sound design, synthesis, and digital audio manipulation.
As a digital nomad for eight years, he has exhibited and performed internationally in Tokyo, New York, Rome, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Chicago, São Paulo, and Berlin. His projects span digital art exhibitions, live performances, and experimental collaborations.
Artistic Focus
Gønz works at the intersection of glitch aesthetics, computational graphics and light-based installation, building custom tools to generate real-time visuals for performances, exhibitions and site–specific environments.
His practice combines code, electronics and sound to design systems that react to space, signal and audience input, turning technical processes into live, audiovisual experiences.
Manifesto
Glitch is not an error, it is a language.
Signals, wires and waves are my alphabet.
I work where machines misbehave and humans feel something.
Every frame is an experiment, every failure a new tool.
Light, sound and motion become one restless organism.
I design systems, then let them escape my control.
The work is not finished on the screen, but in your nervous system.
